Suede Leather Journal

This art journal has been handmade using a traditional Medieval limp-binding technique. This technique involves the pages being sewn directly onto the leather cover using leather strips. Once full, the pages can be removed and rebound seperately, and the journal refilled. The leather used is a split pig skin, giving a suede look and is very soft, yet durable. The book contains 336 pages of 120gsm sketching paper, suitable for ink pen and dry media. The front of the journal closes using a flap which is fastened using a pencil or pen.
